The Hunter and The Seven Spirits I-II

When his father is killed before his eyes by a lion’s attack during a hunt, Jigsaw and his mother lost all hope and are left devastated. Although Jigsaw is a young hunter and wishes to begin hunting, his mother does not allow him to do so at an early age.

According to tradition, Jigsaw can only begin his hunting career when he turns twenty. One day, he encounters a group of seven spirits who grant him a special ability—to hear and understand what all animals say—in order to help him. However, this power is given on the condition that he must never reveal his secret to anyone.

In the second part of the book, when the neighboring Azuri Kingdom threatens to erase Jigsaw’s people from the map through war, Jigsaw becomes the king of Utah Kingdom. As war approaches, he seeks help once more from the seven spirits. In return for their help, he must either grant freedom back to Azuri Kingdom when the time comes—or be killed by one of his own blood.
Will Jigsaw grant freedom to Azuri Kingdom, or will he be killed by someone from his own lineage?
